Aaron Rodgers wants to return to the gridiron for Week 10 at home on Sunday when the Packers face the Seahawks, and if he's cleared, he intends to be active and ready.

Rodgers told Pat McAfee and former teammate A.J. Hawk on "The Pat McAfee Show" Tuesday that he's looking forward to being on the field Sunday in the late afternoon game.

When asked if there's any thought he may not play, Rodgers responded by mentioning that there's certain health checks he'll need to clear first.

"I think there's a possibility, but a small possibility," Rodgers said on McAfee's show.

"I just believe there's a health protocol with movement... sweating, getting into it. Especially the heart is fine with physical exertion... I'm going to start working out. I've been doing some walking, yoga. and will amp this up this week... conditioning and hopefully feel great on Saturday, go through the walk-through and be ready to go.

The Packers are currently 3.5-point favorites against Seattle over at WynnBET Sportsbook with a total of 49.5. The line initially opened with Green Bay as 5-point favorites.

Part of the line move is likely a result of the Seahawks having Russell Wilson returning for the first time since Week 5 when he suffered a tendon rupture and fracture dislocation in his throwing hand.

Could Odell Beckham Jr. be signed by either the Seahawks or Packers?

Another added piece of drama is whether or not newly released receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will be signed by either Seattle or Green Bay ahead of their Week 10 matchup. Multiple reports have indicated that Beckham has interest in both the Seahawks, as well as Green Bay.

Beckham has $7.25 million left on his contract for this season. If he is claimed by either the Seahawks, Packers, or any other team in the NFL, they'll owe him the remainder of that money. If he goes unclaimed, he will be free to sign with a team of his choice.

The deadline for Beckham to be claimed is 4 pm ET on Tuesday, November 9th.
