It's a battle of best vs. worst on Thursday night in Seattle as the Aces look to further its claim as the best team in the league against the rebuilding Storm.

Las Vegas has been lightly challenged this year, and is laying a big number against the Storm, who have dropped seven in a row in the early stages of restarting its franchise after losing the likes of Breanna Stewart and Sue Bird. The Aces look like the new age Storm, will it hold up on the road?

Here's how I'm betting this Thursday night matchup:

Aces vs. Storm prediction and pick

The Aces have ran circles around the league this season, posting a +19.1 net rating, which is more than 13 points better than the next best team in the league.

At the bottom of the net rating list is the Storm, who has a -9 net rating, second worst in the WNBA.

While I'm not interested in laying a massive number with Las Vegas, I'm interested in the over. These are two teams that are inside the top four in terms of pace, and while the Storm the have the lowest effective field goal percentage, the sheer amount of possessions should push this game over the total.

Las Vegas can offset the lack of shotmaking from the Storm with the league best effective field goal percentage and devastating offensive attack. Look for a likely blowout, but either way a high scoring affair between the best team in the WNBA and the worst one.
