Somehow, the Yankees and Red Sox survived what appeared to be a potentially historic collapse on Game 162.
In a scoreless game against the Rays and on the verge of a sweep to knock them out of the AL Wild Card game and into a "Game 163," Aaron Judge stepped up and delivered the go-ahead single to win 1-0 at Yankee Stadium.

Now, they'll need to win one more game for a shot to face the Rays one more time for a best-of-five postseason series.
Both the Red Sox and Yankees held on to their one-game Wild Card lead on Sunday, with Boston coming back from 5-1 down to the Washington Nationals on the road to win 7-5 on a Rafael Devers two-run home run.
