Vinnie Portell, Associate Editor
Vinnie was born in Michigan – where he first fell in love with sports – and carried that passion with him to Florida, where he was raised. After soon realizing that he would most certainly NOT become a professional athlete, Vinnie set out to marry his love of writing with his obsession with sports. Eventually, that took him to the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) where he worked for the student newspaper and graduated with a degree in Journalism. Vinnie then worked for local publications in southwest Florida covering prep sports before joining the BetSided team in early 2023 as a member of the marketing team.
