App State defeated the South Alabama Jaguars last week, 31-7. It was the first time all season that the Mountaineers’ defense allowed less than 10 points in a game. Despite turning the ball over four times, App State was able to keep South Alabama out of the end zone, thwarting the Jaguars on all three of their Red Zone appearances.

Troy took a loss to the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns in Week 11, 35-21. The Trojans were heavily outproduced on the ground, the Ragin’ Cajuns leading the rushing battle with 206 rushing yards to Troy’s 41.
