College basketball's Saturday slate concludes with Stanford playing host to Arizona State. The Cardinal have had some moments of excellence this season, but are coming in on a low note after losing 85-57 to Arizona.

Now they face another Arizona team in the Sun Devils, who are a step down in class for the Cardinal, as evident in the point spread.

Let's check out the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook before we find a best bet on this late night showdown.

Arizona State vs. Stanford Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Arizona State: +5.5 (-110)
  • Stanford: -5.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Arizona State: +185
  • Stanford: -235

Total: 134.5 (Over -115/Under -105)

Arizona State vs. Stanford Prediction and Pick

It's tough to expect much out of the Arizona State offense that is bottom 20 in effective field goal percentage and do an awful job of grabbing second chances.

The offense is an eye sore, but their defense is set to struggle too as they fail to take advantage of the flaws in the Stanford offense, notably at protecting the ball. The Cardinal are 343rd in the country in turnover rate, but ASU is around the national average in generating turnover rate.

If there is one spot where the home team can take advantage it's on the glass. Stanford is top 20 in both offensive and defensive rebounding rate, which can be the difference against an undersized ASU frontcourt.

While I'm not pumped about backing Stanford as big favorites considering they shoot 64% from the charity stripe, I do believe their ability to score from inside will prove to be the difference in this on. The Sun Devils grabbed a two point win on Monday against Utah at home, but before that they dropped two straight by 18 and 24. This is a bottom of the barrel PAC-12 team and I expect Stanford to take care of business at home.

LEAN: Stanford -5.5
