The USC Trojans navigated their mountain road trip with a 2-0 stretch against the likes of Colorado and Utah. Now, they head back to Southern California to face the Arizona State Sun Devils.

ASU has struggled this season, just 6-10 on the year, but they were dealt a tough hand in a three-point loss to Stanford on Saturday night. The Sun Devils were called for 28 fouls that lead to 41 Stanford free throws. ASU took just 9 in the game. Bobby Hurley's post game comments and actions led to a one-game suspension for this one. Arizona State guard Jay Heath was also suspended.

With that in mind, let's look at WynnBET's odds for this PAC-12 matchup and find the best bet.

Arizona State vs. USC Prediction and Pick

Of course, ASU is entering this one without their coach and key rotation players, making this matchup even more daunting. The Sun Devils are an undersized group to begin with, and are bottom third in the country in defensive rebounding rate which plays right into the length of the Trojans. Andy Enfield's group is top 30 in offensive rebounding rate and dominate inside, more than 59% of their points come from inside the arc.

The issue for USC during PAC-12 play, resulting in two losses is their three-point defense. However, I believe it's a due for some positive regression considering opponents are hitting on more than 41% of their perimeter shots in conference games.

ASU may be the antidote to that with their three-point woes. The team is shooting 28% from deep this season and will be without one of their better shooters in Heath due to the suspension, who is shooting 39% from beyond the arc.

Ultimately, USC seems primed for a big outing after two tough road games while Arizona State may still be frustrated with how the Stanford loss played out. I'm leaning towards laying the big number with the likes of Isaiah Mobley and the Trojans' frontcourt.
