In-state rivals meet for the second time this season when Arizona takes the short trip to Tempe to face the Sun Devils.

Zona was able to knock off Arizona State on January 29th, 67-56, and will look to make it a season sweep over their rivals.

Bobby Hurley's club posted their signature win of the season by knocking off UCLA at home in triple overtime. Meanwhile, the Wildcats enter off of two impressive wins against that same Bruins team and another PAC-12 contender in USC. Can Tommy Lloyd's team keep it up laying a big number on the road?

Arizona vs. Arizona State Prediction and Pick

It's been a dismal season for the Sun Devils, sitting 7-13 on the year and 3-7 in PAC 12 play, but the team got their result of the season in the triple overtime thriller over UCLA on Saturday night. Now, they are faced with a short turnaround against KenPom's No. 2 team in the country in Arizona.

The Wildcats are off a string of two marquee matchups against ranked foes in UCLA and USC, but should have no issues dominating an undersized Sun Devils team on the inside. The Wildcats play at the fourth fastest tempo in the country and are top 10 in two-point field goal percentage and the best at defending the interior. Opponents are hitting on below 40% of their two point shots this season. The size of Christian Koloko and the Zona frontcourt have been impenetrable for the opposition this season.

It's going to be tough for ASU to give an honest effort given the size of the Arizona interior and their high octane offense that is best since PAC 12 play started. While the Wildcats may have a letdown of sorts after two emotional victories, their ability to score in bunches is going to be too much for an exhausted ASU team.

LEAN: Arizona -12
