The Arizona Wildcats have lost three consecutive games; their most recent loss, being chopped down by the FCS Northern Arizona Lumberjacks. Timber!

The Oregon Ducks have won three consecutive games, including a defeat of then-No. 3 Ohio State on Sept. 11.

So, what’s going on in Eugene? And what in the world is going on in Tucson?

Arizona has been a series of miscalculations all year. Who knows the depths this team can sink to? 0-12, maybe?

The Wildcats just can’t get the ball in the end zone, with just five total touchdowns in their first three games and they have been destroyed in the running game. Arizona has the 222nd-ranked rushing offense, averaging just 78.7 yards per game and the 193rd ranked rushing defense, allowing 193.3 rushing yards per game. The failure to control the ground game has been devastating for the Wildcats' possession time in their last two games.

The Ducks new quarterback, Boston College-transfer Anthony Brown, has done a great job of not turning over the football, as Oregon has won the turnover battle in all three of its games. Running backs CJ Verdell and Travis Dye have been a huge boost to the Ducks ground attack, as Oregon is averaging 209.3 rushing yards per game.

Arizona vs. Oregon Prediction and Pick

If you’re getting ready to place a bet on Arizona to win anything, take a deep breath and think about what you're doing. Arizona is a mess, don’t let them drag you down with them.

This should be a huge game for Verdell and Dye in the Ducks backfield, and the low-scoring Wildcats will most likely have trouble putting any points on the board, if any at all, in this one.

I’ll take Oregon to cover in this one, but not because they’re really good, because Arizona can be really bad.
