Arizona vs. UCLA Prediction and Odds for College Football Week 11 (Beware of a Trap Game for the Bruins)
By Josh Yourish
At 8-1, Chip Kelly’s UCLA Bruins still have an outside shot at the College Football Playoff, even though the committee currently has them at No. 12. If they win out they could find their way in. Arizona needs to win its final three games if it wants to be bowl eligible come season’s end. Currently the Wildcats are 3-6 after a 45-20 loss to Utah a week ago.
With USC up next on the Bruins schedule, maybe UCLA will be looking ahead and let Arizona steal one.

Arizona vs. UCLA Prediction and Pick
UCLA’s rushing offense has carried them all season. Chip Kelly has had to learn a few new tricks, but he is still a smart offensive coach and as always, is leaning on the ground game. The Bruins are fifth in total offense this year, but are actually taking their time. They are 54th in plays per game, which is surprising for a Kelly team.
Arizona’s offense is very different, but still effective. Jayden de Laura is the Wildcats quarterback and he has led the 7th best passing offense. However, de Laura got pulled last week after going 10/20 for 159 yards to start the game. He will need to bounce back if Arizona wants to capitalize on a trap spot for UCLA.
UCLA’s passing offense will be a soft landing for de Laura as he gets back on the field. The Bruins are 92nd in the country in passing defense and that will allow Arizona to score enough to stay in this game. I know that UCLA will be looking ahead to next week. They will still win, but it’s going to be a little bit too close for comfort.
Pick: Arizona +20 (-105)
