We are in the thick of conference play with Arizona and Washington State going head-to-head in Pac-12 action in Week 12.

Arizona opened as 15.5 point underdogs for Friday night’s game under the lights of  Martin Stadium. The Wildcats are 1-9 on the year with their lone win coming two weeks ago against Cal. They followed that game up with a strong performance in a 38-29 loss to No. 24 Utah. Despite the terrible record, the Wildcats have been a profitable team against the spread (ATS). The team has opened as double-digit underdogs in eight games and has covered six of them. 

Washington State is also looking to bounce back after losing 38-24 to Oregon in Week 11. This leaves the Cougars 6-4 ATS and spread winners of four of the last six games against the Wildcats.

I have no faith that the Wildcats win this game but they have had success with ATS win this season. The Wildcats are on a 4-0 ATS win streak heading into this game with ATS wins over Washington, USC, Cal and Utah. 

Meanwhile, the Cougars have covered just two of their last three games and are 1-2 ATS as a betting favorite and 3-3 ATS at home. 

While there is no denying that Arizona is an awful team, especially on offense, but they have done well to keep games close. Especially on the road. I think that trend extends into this week and the Cougars win but fail to cover.
