Arkansas State vs. Georgia State Prediction and Pick
Both of these defenses have played poorly all season, so there should be a lot of offense in this one.
Georgia State is allowing 254.5 passing yards per game, and their secondary will be shredded by Layne Hatcher this weekend; Arkansas State is averaging 321.7 passing yards per game.
The Red Wolves’ defense is allowing 264.8 rushing yards per game, and they will be flattened by the Panthers rushing attack that is averaging 215.7 rushing yards per game.
Each team’s offensive focus will face an opponent that is weak in defending it. That’s a recipe for a slugfest.
Arkansas State has been an underdog of 16 points or more four times this season, and have only covered in that scenario one time. So if their defense plays too poorly, they will crush themselves on the spread.
Pick: Over 65
