The 16-5 Arkansas Razorbacks hit the road tonight to the Stegeman Coliseum to take on the George Bulldogs in a Wednesday night SEC showdown.

The Razorbacks have bounced back after a tragic 0-3 start to conference play by going on a six-game tear. All but one of those games was against an SEC opponent, and the Razorbacks are now 5-3 in the conference.

Meanwhile, Georgia is just 6-15 overall and 1-7 in conference play. The Bulldogs are pretty fade-able after dropping nine of their last 10 games dating back to last year. Their lone win since the calendar turned to 2022 was against the Alabama Crimson Tide 82-76.

So, can the Bulldogs win their second SEC game of the season? Or, will the Razorbacks cruise to a win tonight over a lousy team?

Arkansas vs. Georgia Prediction and Pick

At first glance, this might seem like a low total for this game and that is because it is. The Razorbacks looked very impressive in their win over West Virginia over the weekend in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Arkansas beat the Mountaineers by nine and WVU is a far better team than Georgia could hope to be this season.

The biggest issue that the Bulldogs have is their Swiss cheese defense that ranks 317th in the nation in points allowed.

Their offense, at 155th, is not nearly good enough to make up for their awful defense. As a result, the Bulldogs have won just one game in the conference and are 4-4 against the spread. Overall, the Bulldogs are 7-13-1 ATS and 2-4 ATS in their last six games.

The Razorbacks, meanwhile, have covered five of their last six games overall and four of their last five games as favorites. Eric Musselman’s team comes into this game as the 21 ranked scoring offense in the nation and 28th in average scoring margin at +10. While their defense isn’t anything to write home about, they are sufficiently equipped to deal with a team at the level of Georgia.
