The Arkansas Razorbacks were flying high until they were aggressively grounded by the Georgia Bulldogs, 37-0. Arkansas gathered just 156 total yards in the loss, but it was against one of the best defenses in College Football and the No. 2 team in the AP Poll.

The Ole Miss Rebels were soaring until their wings got clipped by the Alabama Crimson Tide, 42-21. Ole Miss allowed 451 yards of total offense in the loss, but it was against one of the best offenses in College Football and the No. 1 team in the AP Poll.

Similarly rising football programs were knocked down by the elite. Who gets back up in Week 6?

Arkansas vs. Ole Miss Prediction

Arkansas has received a lot of credit for its defense, but its offense has been surprisingly good. Quarterback KJ Jefferson has been solid under center, throwing decently in the pocket and escaping it when he has to. The running game has five different running backs with at least 130 rushing yards in the first five games, Trelon Smith leading the way with 302 yards. Wide receiver Treylon Burks has collected 22 catches for 383 yards.

Maybe it’s not a good idea to tout an offense that put up a goose egg last week, but the Razorbacks defense should be able to keep Rebels’ quarterback Matt Corral in check enough to take pressure off Arkansas' decent offense.

I’ll take the Razorbacks at +5.5 on the spread.
