Arsenal vs. Everton Prediction and Odds: The Toffees are Down and Nearly Out
By Matt De Saro
Arsenal is in a tough spot this week and are still reeling after a 3-2 loss to Manchester United on Thursday. It will be a quick turnaround for them to try and secure a bounce-back performance against Everton tomorrow. Manchester United were losers of seven of their last eight and should have been a very winnable game. Now, Arsenal has fallen behind Man United to seventh in the overall rankings.
No. 16 ranked Everton should be a great chance to get back on track for Arsenal. The last win Everton managed was on September 25th against Norwich City. Since then, they have lost six times and tied once. Their last game out saw them lose 4-1 to Arsenal.

Everton vs Arsenal Prediction and Pick
The Gunners aren’t having the best season if I’m honest, but they are better than their rankings and far better than Everton. Arsenal has lost games to very tough, high-scoring teams like Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Man United. Ignoring that opening week loss to Brentford, Arsenal is at least losing to good teams. The same can’t be said for Everton. This goes double with Dominic Calvert-Lewin out.
I think that last week’s loss at Old Trafford has the Gunners ready to make a statement on Monday. The Toffees, meanwhile, are barely treading water at this point and shouldn’t put up much of a fight here. Even with an extra day to rest and plan, I think that Everton merely slows Arsenal down if anything.
