The top two Heisman Trophy favorites get a unique opportunity not only for bragging rights, but to separate themselves at the top of the odds.

No. 1 Alabama and Sophomore quarterback Bryce Young welcomes No. 12 Ole Miss and Junior signal-caller Matt Corral Saturday afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The Crimson Tide are currently 14.5-point home favorites against the Rebels.

Both quarterbacks are dead-even in their Heisman Trophy winning odds at WynnBET, with Young and Corral coming in each at +175. Heading into Week 4, Corral held a slight edge over Young at +175 to +200, but the Tide's 63-14 home win against Southern Miss was enough to push him back to Corral's number.

Should bettors who like Young or Corral bet them before Saturday's Ole Miss vs. Alabama matchup?

The winning quarterback of this week's game should theoretically get a boost in their Heisman odds, but is it enough to make a sizable dent and not lose value?

We spoke with WynnBET trader Patrick Wall to gauge his perspective as an oddsmaker.

"I think if you believe the Alabama defense will make Corral struggle, you should be looking to bet on Bryce Young ahead of that game to win the Heisman," Wall shared with BetSided.

"In this case, Corral’s odds will likely drift behind Young’s. If you believe Ole Miss wins this game or even keeps it close, you must look to Corral. I expect the Ole Miss offense to continue to put up an abundance of points this season.”

Corral's odds will skyrocket with a win, but could still go up in a loss

Ultimately, the Crimson Tide have enough weapons around Bryce Young that he could still play well, but not be the reason they win the game as more than two-touchdown favorites.

Corral on the other hand needs to be the difference maker for Ole Miss to have a shot. With a total of 79.5 at WynnBET, points will not be at a premium, but he could still perform masterfully, lose the game, and still very much be in contention.

Corral was at one point at +1500 to win the Heisman Trophy, but rather than wait until after Saturday's game, take him now before the number really rockets up the boards.
