The Houston Astros are one win away from getting back to the World Series in the 2022 season.

Houston dominated the New York Yankees in Game 3 of the ALCS at Yankee Stadium, winning 5-0 and holding New York to just three hits. The Yankees' offense has been nowhere to be found in this series.

Nestor Cortes (12-4, 2.44 ERA) gets the ball for New York against Lance McCullers (4-2, 2.27 ERA) in Game 4. Can New York at least force a Game 5? Or will the Astros stay undefeated this postseason?

Astros vs. Yankees Prediction and Pick

There’s just no way that you can back the Yankees as favorites right now.

This team simply can’t hit, failing to register more than six hits in a game all postseason.

Now, the Astros send yet another solid arm to the mound in McCullers, and, they have the No. 1 bullpen in baseball backing him up. Houston hasn’t lit the world on fire with its offense in this series (12 runs in three games), but it’s come up with timely hits to down the Yanks again and again.

Cortes looked much better in his second start of the postseason than his first, but the Astros scored three runs in five innings in his lone start against them in the regular season.

As boring as a sweep would be in this series, getting the Astros as underdogs seems like a gift in Game 4. I won’t pass it up.
