Auburn vs. Arkansas Prediction, Odds and Spread for College Football Week 7
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Auburn Tigers had a highly anticipated matchup with the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs in Week 6, only to watch their chances go down in flames, losing 34-10. Auburn quarterback Bo Nix failed to find the endzone and the Tigers offense picked up just 318 total yards.
The No. 13 Arkansas Razorbacks lost to the No. 17 Ole Miss Rebels last week, and they have swapped spots in the latest AP Poll, now No. 13 Ole Miss and No. 17 Arkansas.
The Razorbacks put up a goose egg against Georgia in Week 5, only to put up 51 points in a loss to the Rebels in Week 6. Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson put together an impressive performance, throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns and picking up 85 yards and three more touchdowns on the ground.
Jefferson’s six touchdown game will certainly be on the minds of Auburn’s defense this week.

Auburn vs. Arkansas Prediction
Auburn picked up a close victory over LSU just two weeks ago then got beat on by Georgia this past week. They’re not playing bad, but they’re not playing that great either.
The losses to Penn State and Georgia are respectable, and the Tigers offense has done just enough to get by. Overall, this is a well balanced Auburn team.
With a better defense than Ole Miss, Auburn should keep Jefferson from scoring six touchdowns in this game.
Arkansas has dropped two games in a row after their 4-0 start, and I think they’ll make it three losses in a row this week. The Razorbacks picked up nice wins against the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies when both teams were going through quarterback changes. Arkansas was a nice surprise when the season kicked off, but its defense will struggle to stop Bo Nix and Auburn in this one.
I’m taking Auburn at +3.5 on the spread and on the moneyline at +150.
