After seeing their nine-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Washington, the 55-15-6 Colorado Avalanche hope to rebound as they take on the 25-44-6 Seattle Kraken tonight at 10:00 PM EST.

Seattle has won two straight but have been one of the worst teams in the NHL this season while Colorado has been elite on both ends of the ice all year.

The Avalanche have a fair of wins over the Kraken, notching a 7-3 victory in November then a 4-3 win in January. Can they make it three straight or will Seattle get revenge as we inch closer to the end of the regular season?

Here are the odds from WynnBET to help us find out ahead of this Avalanche vs Kraken matchup:

Avalanche vs Kraken Prediction and Pick

Despite only scoring two goals in their loss to the Capitals, the Avalanche offense has been overwhelming. They're averaging 4.55 goals per game over their last nine contests and will be out for blood after blowing their winning streak.

The Kraken have been terrible against strong competition this year. They're 5-15 in their last 20 as underdogs and are averaging just 1.85 goals per game in their last seven as 'dogs. That's helped the under go 5-2 in that stretch.

Colorado has won six of seven on the road while Seattle is 2-8 in their last 10 as a home underdog.

These teams are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum and I expect the Avalanche to shut the Kraken down. Colorado is allowing just 2.25 goals per game in their last eight away from home and with how bad the Seattle offense is against good teams, we should see a comfortable Avalanche win.

But I also think the total is a bit too high here. Colorado should jump out to an early lead and coast a bit to ensure they stay healthy for the playoffs, and the Kraken offense is among the worst in the league.

Pick: Avalanche -1.5 (-125) and Under 6.5 (-110)
