Two of the most incredible games of the college football season resulted in dramatic victories, as well as heartbreaking bad beats that will be talked about for weeks.

In Oxford, Mississippi, Matt Corral and the No. 17 Rebels' were so close to pulling off the win.

Well, they "technically" did win; 52-51 on the final play of the game in Oxford over No. 12 Arkansas. But for bettors holding Ole Miss -5 tickets, the result could not have been a worse one.

The same can be said about the No. 21 Texas Longhorns, who saw their +3.5 tickets go up in smoke on the second-to-final play of the game in Dallas vs. No. 6 Oklahoma.

Ole Miss Bad Beat vs. Arkansas

The final line at WynnBET closed at Ole Miss as five-point favorites. With the game tied at 31 a piece at the end of the third quarter, six total touchdowns were scored in the fourth.

Tied at 45 with 1:22 left to go in the final quarter, Matt Corral connected with Braylon Sanders for a 68-yard touchdown pass to put Ole Miss on top by a touchdown: 52-45.

The Razorbacks had 1:07, which was apparently one second too long to hang onto the full touchdown victory.

Warren Thompson missed a touchdown pass to Treylon Burks from nine yards out on what most thought was the final play of the game. But with one second left, Thompson found K.J Jefferson to make it a 52-51 score.

With a shot to send the game to overtime and give Ole Miss bettors a shot at redemption, Arkansas decided to try and win the game on a two-point conversion, but failed to convert.

The Rebels hung on 52-51 in a big bounce-back game at home, but one second separated Ole Miss bettors from having a much better day.

Texas Bad Beat vs. Oklahoma

Meanwhile, the Texas Longhorns closed as 3.5-point underdogs at WynnBET in the Red River Showdown in Dallas vs. Oklahoma.

Texas would see their three-score first quarter lead over Oklahoma evaporate in the second half as Caleb Williams entered the game for the benched Spencer Rattler. After OU took a 48-41 lead, the Longhorns made another huge play to tie the game at 48 with 1:23 left to go.

With Oklahoma driving, Kennedy Brooks got a carry from 33 yards away, and the Longhorns +3.5 bet that bettors cashed in their head at the end of the first quarter evaporated into thin air.

Even Longhorn fans who had bet the game would have been "somewhat" content to see the Sooners win it on a field goal, rather than have their hearts (and betting tickets) stepped on by their biggest rival.
