Bad Weather in the Forecast for Raiders-Bengals, Patriots-Bills: Who Has the Advantage?
By Reed Wallach
We have seen weather play a huge role over the course of the NFL season and we may see it happening again on Wild Card weekend.
Both AFC Wild Card games on Saturday have potential inclement weather impacting both games, so let's waste no time and update you as of Tuesday.

Cincinnati Bengals (-5.5) vs. Las Vegas Raiders (49)
The Raiders are travelling across the country to face the Bengals and will play in freezing temperatures that they are not used to playing, their home games in the desert.
Derek Carr is 1-5 straight up in games with sub 40 degree temperature, so this is a foreign and unsuccessful environment for the Las Vegas signal caller. However, the run game may open up opportunities to help the Raiders chances.
Both teams are bottom third in EPA per Rush this season, but the Raiders defensive line has been stiff against the run, top 10 in success rate allowed. Meanwhile, the Bengals are 15th in stopping the run this season.
If this game becomes more of a rock fight and ground controlled that can neutralize the Bengals high octane passing game, so that is worth monitoring.

Buffalo Bills (-4.5) vs. New England Patriots (43)
Weather in Western New York in January? What a surprise.
So we are on track for freezing temperature in Buffalo for this rubber match between AFC East foes, but this may not play at the same way as the wind bowl a few weeks back that saw New England throw the ball three times in a win against the Bills.
Keep an eye on the total in this game if the passing game becomes subdued, but also try not to let the first game weigh too heavily on your handicap of the game as the wind doesn't appear to have a massive impact in this case.
