Barbasol Championship prop bets (Fade Cameron Champ)

Cameron Champ has been awful lately, yet he is still expected to make the cut at this week's Barbasol Championship.

The Barbasol Championship will serve as the alternate field event for this week's Scottish Open, and it presents plenty of great value from a betting perspective.

In this article, I'm going to focus on my two favorite prop bets for the tournament, but if you want my picks to win, you can find them in my betting preview here.

Let's dive into the best prop bets for this week's action.

Prop Bets for the Barbasol Championship

  • Ryu Hisatsune top Asian +450
  • Cameron Champ to miss the cut +170

Ryu Hisatsune top Asian +450

You probably don't know the name Ryu Hisatsune, but he's been putting up some strong performance on the DP World Tour lately. In fact, he has finished 15th and eighth in his last two starts, meaning he's entering this week in extremely good form.

The co-favorite for this prop bet, Carl Yuan, has missed the cut in two of his last three starts including at last week's John Deere Classic. Hisatsune should be the favorite to finish as the top Asian, so I love his price at +450.

Cameron Champ to miss the cut +170

Cameron Champ has been awful lately. Since finishing T8 at the Mexico Open in April, he has gone; missed cut, T50, T63, missed cut, missed cut, missed cut, T51.

As a past winner on the PGA Tour and one of the few names in the field that you may recognize this week, you may be tempted to bet on him to have a strong performance. But, his 163rd ranking in total strokes gained this season says you should stay far away, or better yet, bet on him to miss the cut entirely.

I love this bet at +170 odds.
