COVID-19 continues to lead to bowl cancellations, this time the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl, with Boise State withdrawing due to COVID-19 issues within the team.

As Barstool President Dave Portnoy notes, Washington State is a potential replacement for Boise State, considering their Arizona-based bowl game was cancelled recently against Miami.

Ross Dellenger of Sports Illustrated reports that Washington State is set to stay and look for a replacement in the Sun Bowl, likely not meeting Central Michigan in the Barstool Bowl.

We have become accustomed to replacement teams in bowl games, such as Rutgers filling in for Texas A&M in the Gator Bowl against Wake Forest, and Portnoy is looking to keep the company's first bowl game alive, seeking the likes of Nebraska as well.
