The reigning champions No. 10 Baylor Bears are on the road tonight to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Monday night in Big 12 conference action.

The Bears stumbled a bit over the last month after losing three of their last ten games. And while that would be a win for most teams, it's not a month that a champion usually has. Baylor remains two games behind Kansas for the top spot in the Big 12 while Oklahoma State ranks fifth with a 6-8 conference record.

The Cowboys are winners of six of their last seven games with their lone loss in that span coming at the hands of Oakland 56-65. Here are the odds for this Big 12 matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Baylor vs. Oklahoma State Prediction and Pick

This is a very tough matchup to try and predict due to my doubt that Baylor is going to roll with their usual starting lineup.

The Baylor Bears are going to make a run at the Big 12 tournament and then afterward the NCAA tournament. In the meantime, they have two games against ranked teams and another against Iowa State. These are games that the Bears will want to win and I think they might sacrifice some offense tonight to make sure they are well rested for the home stretch.

The Bears are also a little banged up right now and their starters could use some time off, especially Adam Flagler who is dealing with a knee injury.  Baylor is still one of the best teams in the nation despite mounting injuries but I do worry that they are going to try to protect some guys tonight against a mediocre team as the playoffs loom.

Whether they test guys tonight or not, I think Baylor still has the chops to get it done. They have been winning games regularly while LJ Cryer is out until at least the tournament and Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua out for the year.

I’m willing to bet that Baylor continues to win shorthanded tonight.

Lean: Baylor Bears -4.5 (-110)
