The talk of the offseason surrounding the Green Bay Packers was how they'd adjust to life after Davante Adams.

Well, if there's one thing we can take away from their Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, they certainly do miss him.

The Packers lost 23-7 to their divisional rival, and Aaron Rodgers looked visibly frustrated with his receivers throughout the entire game. Now, they get to face another NFC North foe in the Chicago Bears, who are coming off a big upset win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Let's take a look at the odds via FanDuel for this Week 2 Sunday Night Football showdown.

Bears vs. Packers Odds, Spread, and Total

Bears vs. Packers Betting Trends

  • Packers are 6-0 ATS in their last six games vs. Bears
  • Bears are 5-14 ATS in last 19 games vs. NFC opponents.
  • Bears are 0-5 ATS in last five games vs. NFC North opponents.
  • Packers are 8-1 straight up in last nine home games.

Bears vs. Packers Prediction and Pick

At 9.5-points, this spread is massive. But with how Aaron Rodgers has owned the Bears in recent history, it's tough not to consider laying the number.

Instead of making a tough call on the spread, I'm going to look at the total instead, Both offenses were absolutely terrible in the opening week, so I'll bank on that continuing in Week 2.

The Packers averaged just 5.5 yards per play against a mediocre (at best) Vikings defense, and the Bears averaged the fewest yards per play in the opening week at 3.6. Sure, we can blame the rain for some of the offensive issues for Chicago, but the results are what most of us expected from this offense heading into the season.

Defense will reign supreme in the NFC North showdown on Sunday night.
