Aaron Rodgers owns the Chicago Bears, he told them and their fans exactly that last year. Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have struggled in Week 1 for two years straight. A week ago it was a blowout loss to Minnesota, a year ago it was a blowout loss to the Saints. That didn’t change the fact he owned Chicago then and it doesn’t change the fact that he owns the city now.

Bears vs. Packers Odds, Spread and Total

Bears vs. Packers Odds, Spread and Total Movement in NFL Week 2

The Packers opened as 8.5-point favorites against the Bears and have taken money since then, moving to -9.5 favorites and pushing -10 at several sportsbooks.

As for the total, it has dropped like a rock in water, going from 45.5 to 41.5 as of this writing.

Bears vs. Packers Best Bet and Prediction

We watched Aaron Rodgers struggle against Minnesota and watched as he refused to trust his young receivers. Chrstian Watson was banished after dropping a certain touchdown on the first offensensive play for Green Bay. Rodgers may not trust Watson or Romeo Doubs again this week, but they Packers have a good enough running game to win regardless.

AJ Dillon could be the No. 1 target for this team especially if Allen Lazard is out and it will still be enough to dominate a Chicago team that lacks the talent to hang with Green Bay. Sure, the Bears are 1-0 after beating the 49ers, who knocked Rodgers out of the playoffs a year ago, but that game was played in a monsoon which evened the talent gap between the two teams.

The Packers might not have a ton of receiving talent, but they have more than the Bears who have to rely on Darnell Mooney as their No. 1 guy. The lack of talent in Chicago will show up this weekend in clear weather.

I love the Packers to bounce back and win big on Sunday night.

Pick: Packers -9.5 (-118)
