Bears vs. Seahawks Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 16
By Matt De Saro
The Chicago Bears hit the road in Week 16 to take on the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field on Sunday. The Chicago Bears fell to 4-10 overall after losing 17-9 to the Minnesota Vikings. It was their third loss in a row and they now sit in third place in the NFC North.
After a decent start to the year, the Bears have lost eight of their last nine games and continue to spiral down the drain. They are 2-5 overall and against the spread (ATS) in their seven road games this season. As an away underdog, the Bears are 2-4 ATS. The Bears are actually one of the worst teams in the NFL against the spread with a cover rate of just 33.3 percent.
As of this writing, the Seahawks have yet to play their Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Rams. Due to Covid-19 issues, the game was pushed back to Tuesday night along with the Washington vs Philadelphia game. S
eattle has won their last two games after a three-game losing streak but is still 4th in the NFC West. This could be the final season for Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll and the team is hoping to end the season on a high note. A win against the floundering Bears is a great start.

Bears vs. Seahawks Prediction and Pick
In a case of “too little too late” the Seattle Seahawks offense has finally woken up and has scored at least 30 points in back-to-back games. While it might not be enough to get them into the playoffs, their offense should be enough to get them past the lowly Bears. The Bears are also on the road in a short week and Seattle is a notoriously tough place to play.
But, the Seahawks are going to be on an even shorter week with a Tuesday night game still left to get through. They are also dealing with issues in the passing game with Tyler Lockett on the COVID-19 list and DK Metcalf struggling to find his groove. I want to see Metcalf have a strong game against the Rams tonight before I feel good about taking Seattle to cover this game.
The Bears have their moments and hopefully, they can string enough together to cover in this spot.
Pick: Chicago Bears +7 (-110):
