Much like many other teams in the NFL, the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will have nothing to play for when they meet each other in Week 18, at least as far as the playoffs are concerned.

Matt Nagy and Mike Zimmer are likely dead men walking when it comes to their current jobs, but they still have time to salvage some level of pride to show other teams that they can still coach at this level. Other players, like Kirk Cousins, will need to utilize this game to show their talents before potentially looking for a new home this offseason.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for this NFC North Week 18 showdown.

Bears vs. Vikings Odds, Spread, and Total

Spread:

  • Bears +3 (-110)
  • Vikings -3 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Bears +130
  • Vikings -160

Bears vs. Vikings Betting Trends

  • The UNDER is 10-5 in the Bears' last 15 games.
  • Bears are 6-3 ATS in their last nine games against the Vikings.

Bears vs. Vikings Prediction and Pick

There is no way that I can bet on the Bears in the final week of the season. Their offense makes them un-bettable in the large majority of their games, and this one is no exception. They rank 28th in the NFL in yards per play, averaging just 4.9. Even in their 29-3 Week 17 win against the Giants, Chicago still only averaged 3.8 yards per offensive play.

The Vikings on the other hand, are one of the better teams that missed out on the postseason this year. They're 16th in yards per play on offense, and they can attack teams both through the air and on the ground.

Chicago has an average scoring margin of -9.8 on the road this season, and I don't see that changing this week. I'll lay the points with the Vikings and I'll gladly look forward to not having to wager on any more Bears games until next September.

Pick: Vikings -3
