The Cincinnati Bengals, just like the rest of the NFL, understood they needed to improve their offensive line. Joe Burrow was sacked seven times in Super Bowl 56, and that wasn’t even the most during the postseason run. The Tennessee Titans sacked him 9 times during the AFC Divisional Round. There was no way for Cincinnati to stay put with its offensive line and remain a contender.

The Bengals knew what needed to be done and have taken moves to fix it. They signed for Buccaneer Alex Kappa and former Patriot Ted Karras. Cincinnati hasn't stopped there.

Cincinnati signed La’el Collins, who was recently released by the Dallas Cowboys, to a 3-year contract. We’ve seen what Joe Burrow can do without solid protection. Now that Colins is there, the ceiling just got raised for the Bengals.

WynnBET currently has the Bengals’ odds to win the Super Bowl at +1800. That line has dropped from its opening position of +1200. Deshaun Watson’s appearance in the AFC North certainly made a difference, but it also created value for Bengals’ bettors.

The Bengals’ investment isn’t just going to help Burrow and the passing game. It will also elevate Joe Mixon and the running game. Mixon ended last season with a career-high 1,205 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. The Bengals can now be one of the most balanced offenses in the league.

Cincinnati is in the tougher conference and will go through a gauntlet of teams to get back to the Super Bowl. However, they now have experience and have fixed their biggest weakness.

With an MVP candidate who will be able to stay on his feet as their quarterback, the Bengals will be as dangerous as ever in 2022.
