Baltimore and Cincinnati, both at 2-2, battle it out on Sunday Night Football this week for first place in the AFC North. The Bengals have had a week and a half to prepare for the Ravens, who are coming off a heart-breaking loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The Ravens have looked dominant at times this year and have looked inept at others – the same goes for the Bengals. This week will be an important game, not just in the standings, but also as a litmus test for the rest of the season.

Ravens vs. Bengals Prediction and Pick

Based on what I’ve seen from these teams this season, the Ravens should win this game. They’ve been able to run the ball, Lamar Jackson is firmly in the MVP race and the Bengals are just now getting on track.

However, Baltimore has failed to keep leads and hasn’t been able to score in order to stop the bleeding. The Ravens’ defense has been horrendous this year. They are 30th in yards per game, 25 in points per game and 29th in yards per play.

If the Bengals can get their passing game started early, then the Ravens are going to be in for a long night. Still, the Ravens have Lamar Jackson, and that’s proven to be a good counter to a lot of the problems defenses throw at Baltimore.

This game is too close to call, but I like the OVER in this one – as both offenses have a key advantage over the defense.
