The Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints have an opportunity to get their seasons back on track in Week 6 of the NFL season when they face-off in Louisiana.

The Bengals are coming off a loss on Monday Night Football to the Baltimore Ravens, while the Saints will look to even their record at 3-3 after a Week 5 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Let's take a look at the opening odds for the game, and then I'll break down my best bet.

Bengals vs. Saints Odds, Spread, and Total

  • Bengals are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games.
  • The UNDER is 10-0 in the Bengals' last 10 games.
  • Bengals are 5-1 ATS in last six games vs. Saints
  • The UNDER is 8-4 in the Saints' last 12 games.

Bengals vs. Saints Prediction and Pick

The Bengals offense has yet to deliver this NFL season. They rank second last in yards per play through the first five weeks, averaging just 4.8 yards per snap. It might be time to stop looking at this team as the defending AFC champions, and start accepting them for who they are.

Meanwhile, the Saints offense has been much better than you might expect. They rank seventh in yards per play, and sixth in yards per pass attempt. Andy Dalton has been fantastic since replacing Jameis Winston. He averaged 8.4 yards per pass against the Vikings in Week 4, and then 7.8 yards per pass in Week 5 against the Seahawks.

The Saints defense has also been stout. Mainly, their third down defense which ranks second in the NFL, allowing teams to convert on just 29.85% of third down opportunities.

It's time to stop believing in the Bengals. I'm going to start fading them until proven otherwise.
