The first round at Wimbledon is a lot of tennis to take in. There's 128 players in the field and matches going on all the time. It can get hard to keep track of everyone who's competing, even the bigger names.

  • Analysis: Berrettini is the second-biggest favorite to win this tournament. The odds standings would shake with a loss here. 

Carlos Alcaraz (-450) vs. Jan-Lennard Struff (+330)

  • Total: 38.5 (Over: +100/Under: -120)
  • Analysis: Alcaraz still has to show he can be great on grass, which is why he’s not an overwhelming favorite like the other two. Keep this as a match to watch.

Top Women’s Wimbledon First Round Matches

Iga Swiatek (-10000) vs. Jana Fett (+1550) Prediction

  • Total: 16.5 (Over: +110/Under: -135)
  • Analysis: If Swiatek lost in the first round, it would be the upset of the year. Look to the set score for any kind of value. 

Elena-Gabriela Ruse (+700) vs. Coco Gauff (-1250) Prediction

  • Total: Total: 18.5 (Over: -105/Under: -115)
  • Analysis: Gauff is one of my favorite picks to win it all. She’s had a dominant year and has had success at Wimbledon before. Trust her to take care of business. 

Petra Kvitova (-4000) vs. Jasmine Paolini (+1250) Prediction

  • Total: 17.5 (Over: -105/Under: -125)
  • Analysis: Kviotva lost in the first round last year. She hasn’t lost in consecutive years since her first two WImbledon tournaments. Back her with confidence.
