Best College Basketball Odds for Every Game Today (Odds, Spreads and Totals for Tuesday, December 6)

Eight of college basketball's top 25 teams take the hardwood this Tuesday night, with only one game featuring two ranked teams going head-to-head at the world's most famous arena.

No. 17 Illinois (6-2) takes on No. 2 Texas at Madison Square Garden in Game 1 of the Jimmy V Classic this evening, with the Longhorns listed as short favorites and a total hovering around 142.

Both teams have trended towards the under in the early going this season. Illinois has gone 9-4 in unders going back to last season, while unders have gone 4-1-1 over Texas' first six games this season.

In the late game at MSG, No. 15 Duke (8-2) takes on 6-1 Iowa, with the Blue Devils also listed as short favorites and a total of 146.5-147.

Duke's two losses this year have come against two of the best teams in the country in No. 6 Kansas and No. 4 Purdue, while the Hawkeyes fell to TCU in the Emerald Coast Classic Championship during the Thanksgiving holiday 79-66.

Despite both teams' high-flying offenses, via Covers, unders have hit in four straight neutral site matchups for each squad.

Other notable matchups this evening include a Big Ten battle between No. 8 Maryland in Madison to face the Badgers, Saint Louis heads to New Rochelle, NY to face Rick Pitino and the 4-2 Gales, Georgia and Georgia Tech, as well as James Madison and Virginia match up for in-state showdowns, and we have a battle of the Bulldogs as Yale takes on Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
