Best College Basketball Odds for Every Game Today (Odds, Spreads and Totals for Thursday, December 8)
By Ben Heisler
It's a relatively quiet night in college basketball with only 11 games in action, and just eight games total available to wager on.
The Big Ten takes center stage with five teams in action, four of which face each other in conference play.
In the early window, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights come off their upset victory at home against No. 14 Indiana for a matchup on the road against another ranked opponent in No. 25 Ohio State.
Playing at home has been key to success in covering the spread, going 6-1 ATS over their last seven matchups. The Buckeyes opened as a 6-point favorite, but the line has dropped down a half a point towards Rutgers at several books.
In the late window of Big Ten play, Michigan travels to Minnesota to face the Golden Gophers. Minnesota's 4-4 on the season, and while they're 3-1 straight up at home, they're only 1-3-0 ATS in their own arena.
Meanwhile, the Wolverines will play their first true road game of the season, although they've already taken on two top ranked teams this season; losing two close games to No. 3 Virginia (70-68), as well as No. 19 Kentucky (73-69).
Other notable matchups tonight include in-state rivalry games between Iowa and Iowa State from Iowa City, Colorado and Colorado State out in Boulder, and UMass Lowell takes on UMass out in Amherst.
