Tuesday's college hoops slate is dense with several high major conferences taking the court, including the best league this season in the Big 12.

The best matchup on the board goes down in Ames, Iowa where the Iowa State Cyclones host the upstart Kansas State Wildcats. Two teams that weren't seen as threats in the Big 12 this season are atop the standings entering Tuesday's tilt, so this game will help sort out the top of the conference.

The Wildcats are on fire at the moment, No. 5 in the country after beating Kansas at home last week and following it up with a win against Texas Tech. Here are the odds for their road trip to Ames against another ranked foe in what is becoming a grueling Big 12 schedule.

The other matchup worth keeping an eye on is in the Big Ten where Illinois and Ohio State try to find some consistency as the final month of the regular season is quickly coming into the view.

The Buckeyes stopped a five game losing streak on Saturday by beating Iowa at home, 93-77, but now take their talnets on the road to try and win at Illinois, who won four straight Big Ten games to offset an 0-3 start, but got blown out at home by Indiana on Thursday, 80-65.

Both of these teams figure to have the highest ceilings in the league, but are in need of some stability, who will show up on Tuesday night?
