Daily Dinger: Best Home Run Bets Today (Look to Guardians-Yankees for Homers on Wednesday)
Game 5 of the ALDS got washed out Monday evening, setting us up for a delightful doubleheader of baseball on Tuesday.
The Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees finally wrap up their winner-take-all matchup from the Bronx in the late afternoon, followed by Game 1 of the NLCS between the Philadelphia Phillies an and San Diego Padres as both wild card winners look to advance to the Fall Classic.
Because of the rainout, Monday's Daily Dinger anytime home run picks were voided out. Here's where the BetSided crew has landed for today's action.

Best Home Run Bets Today
Anthony Rizzo (+400) - New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians
I planned to take Rizzo on Monday night vs. Aaron Civale, and now that he's been named the starter for tonight as well, I feel even better about my selection.
In 10 at-bats in his career, Rizzo has five hits vs. the right-hander; three of them for extra bases and two of them for home runs.
Rizzo has also played well throughout the series against a very talented Guardians' pitching staff. In 14 at-bats, he has four hits, including a double and a home run, and comes of his best game of the series last Sunday following a 2-4 day.
There's a reason the lines keep shifting towards Rizzo to go yard this afternoon, and I'll jump on it before they move even more. - Ben Heisler

Rizzo started this series off with a bang, and he’ll end it with one too.
Aaron Civale is in line to get the start, but he hasn’t been as lights out as you’d want to start games. He has a 5.40 ERA in the first inning and has given up six home runs in the first as well.
Rizzo has been making contact all series long, had a home run in Game 1 and now has a great matchup to put the Yankees ahead early. – Donnavan Smoot

Harrison Bader (+600) - New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians
There hasn’t been a more clutch hitter in the New York Yankees’ lineup this postseason than center fielder Harrison Bader, who has launched three homers in four games in the ALDS.
Why not let the October of Bader continue? The Yankees were rained out on Monday, but now the wind is blowing out and we should have clear skies in the Bronx on Tuesday.
Not only has Bader launched three homers, but he has the best postseason average on the team (.286) against Cleveland. Simply put, Bader is seeing the ball well right now.
We could see Aaron Civale on the mound for Cleveland to start this game, and he had an ERA nearing five in the regular season. New York relies on the long ball, so why not bet on its hottest hitter to keep things rolling?
With the Yankees back at home in Game 5, I think the Bronxville native makes his mark once again to help his team advance to the ALCS. – Peter Dewey

Andrés Giménez (+630) - Cleveland Guardians at New York Yankees
I hate the Yankees and I’ll be cheering for them to get eliminated. So, because of that, there’s no way I’m going to bet on a Yankee to hit a dinger tonight.
Instead, I’m looking at the Guardians lineup and I’m looking at their best hitter against left-handed pitching. Since Nestor Cortes is starting for New York, there’s no sense backing someone like Josh Naylor, who simply can not hit lefties.
That’s what I’m going with Andrés Giménez today. He’s a long shot, but his slugging numbers this season increase from .460 against righties, to .487 against lefties. His batting average also creeps up to .336 against lefties, so I think he’s the best option on the Guardians to go yards today. – Iain MacMillan

Oscar Gonzalez (+560) - Cleveland Guardians at New York Yankees
The Monday rainout isn’t going to stop my play on rookie Oscar Gonzalez.
Gonzalez had the walk off hit in Game 3, the walk off home run in extra innings against the Rays in the Wild Card round, and I think he cracks one here.
Against right handed pitching this season, Gonzalez hit 11 home runs and hit north of .300 against righties. Maybe the extra day of rest makes it more likely that Gonzalez sees a lefty like Nestor Cortes, but outside of him, the Yankees don’t have any formidable southpaw. I like Gonzalez at north of +500. – Reed Wallach
