The whole BetSided crew is back on Tuesday to finish the regular season strong in our daily home run prop betting contest, affectionally known as the "Daily Dinger."

Last week, the team got off to a sizzling start, hitting on seven different batters in the first three games of the week! With everyone now in double digits for home run picks on the season in a limited sample, can the number stay hot for tonight?

We're headed to Atlanta as several Braves' middle-of-the-order bats get to tee off another time on Washington Nationals left-hander Patrick Corbin, while the others head to Colorado; taking both sides of the projected slugfest at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Don't' forget to follow along in our team standings all throughout the season HERE!

Best Home Run Picks Today

Matt Olson (+280) - Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals

Let’s fade Nationals starter Patrick Corbin together.

He enters tonight’s start against the Atlanta Braves with a 6.11 ERA, and he’s giving up 1.6 home runs per nine innings pitched.

The Brave that I’m going to bet on to go yard today is Matt Olson. Olson has already hit 28 this year, but he has a way to go to match his 2021 total of 39 home runs. His last dinger was back on September 6th, so he’s due for another.

It’s also going to help us that the Nationals bullpen has allowed 1.2 home runs per nine innings pitched this season, the worst mark amongst all Major League bullpens.  Iain MacMillan

Austin Riley (+280) - Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals

The Braves take on the lowly Nats and one of their worst pitchers this season and Patrick Corbin. The left hander is facing one of the deepest and talented lineups in the Braves, so I’m eyeing this lineup and their best hitter against southpaws in Austin Riley.

Riley has an OPS of 1.140 against lefties this season and is playing in Truist Park, one of the most hitter friendly parks in the big leagues.

Not overthinking this one, the Nats are AAA ball club and Riley is one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball. – Reed Wallach

There are few things I love more in Daily Dinger than backing Austin Riley against a left-handed pitcher, and why not back him against one of the worst lefties in all of baseball in Patrick Corbin?

Corbin has allowed 27 home runs in 29 starts this season, and Riley has been solid against him in his career, tallying eight hits and two homers in 27 at bats. Riley also is dominant against lefties slashing .338/.426/.714 with 11 homers this season.  – Peter Dewey

C.J. Cron (+300) – Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants

When the Rockies are in Colorado, they become a different team – and C.J. Cron is the perfect example of that. Of his 28 home runs, 21 of them have come at home. Cron is comfortable at Coors Field and that’s why he’s my pick tonight.

Carlos Rodón has given up a home run in two of his last four starts. It’s not a lot, but it's enough for Cron to snap out of his week-long “no-dinger streak.” Cron’s slugging percentage jumps by .235 at home. I’m taking that to the bank and backing him tonight. – Donnavan Smoot

Lewis Brinson (+600) - San Francisco Giants at Colorado Rockies

You might be wondering why I’m willing to take a chance on a .188 hitter with just three home runs to his name.

First, the matchup sets up exceptionally well. Brinson has had all sorts of issues vs. right-handed pitchers this year, but vs. lefties, he’s done quite well. In 14 games and 27 at-bats, Brinson has all three of his home runs, along with an eye-opening isolated power of .407 and weighted-runs-created-plus of +140.

Tonight, he not only faces a left-hander in Kyle Freeland, but faces him in Coors Field where the total sits at 11.5. Freeland also has a decent ERA of 4.43, but his expected ERA (xERA) is actually a tick above 5.

Everyone’s home run odds come way down when playing at Coors Field, but Brinson’s appear to be awfully high, creating terrific value with the right matchup in the right ballpark tonight. – Ben Heisler
