Over the 2022 season, the BetSided team of editors debate and share our best home run prop bet picks of the day in Major League Baseball.

WynnBET Sportsbook offers home run odds for several players in each MLB matchup, but not all players mentioned in the article are always available. Bettors can still wager on all these games as well as take advantage of several other unique prop bet opportunities.

Odds shown are consensus if they are not available at WynnBET. If listed as TBD, it means odds have not been made available as of this writing.

Best Home Run Picks for Thursday, April 28

  • Aaron Judge (+350)
  • Jesus Aguilar (+450)
  • Jazz Chisholm (TBD)
  • Nolan Arenado (+430)

Aaron Judge (+350) - Baltimore Orioles vs. New York Yankees

Judge collected two straight two-hit games in the first two games of their series vs. the Orioles, and now gets a positive splits matchup against left-hander Bruce Zimmermann this afternoon.

Via FantasyLabs, this season vs. left-handers, Judge has a wOBA (weighted on-base average) of .488 vs. left-handed pitching (league average is .320). He also has an ISO (isolated power) of .412 vs. lefties this year (league average is .140).

He's also smoking the baseball every time he puts one in play.

Oh, and the wind is blowing out to right field at 19-20 mph today.

It might be "Daily Dingers" instead of just one for Judge and the Yankees this afternoon. -- Ben Heisler

Jesus Aguilar - Miami Marlins vs. Washington Nationals

Jesus Aguilar hit his first home run of the season on Wednesday, and I'm going to bet on him to make it back-to-back days with a dinger today.

The Marlins take on the Nationals and starting pitcher Patrick Corbin, who has been downright awful to start the year. He's allowed 17 earned runs in 13.2 innings pitched, so I'll take advantage of an opposing batter today.

I'll back Aguilar to go yard for the second straight day. -- Iain MacMillan

Jazz Chisholm - Miami Marlins vs. Washington Nationals

I am finally on the board in Daily Dinger!

So how about we turn this into a streak?

Today, I’m looking at one of the most electric young players in baseball, Miami Marlins infielder Jazz Chisholm, who is taking on Washington Nationals starter Patrick Corbin (0-3, 11.20 ERA) on Thursday.Chisholm is off to a hot start this season, hitting .308 with four homers, and now he gets to face one of the worst pitchers in baseball right now in Corbin. The veteran lefty has allowed 24 hits and one homer in just 13.2 innings this season, and the Nationals have allowed a league-high 107 runs so far this season.

I’ll back Jazz to go deep, and show off with a sick bat flip while he’s at it. -- Peter Dewey

Nolan Arenado (+430) - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Arenado started this season on fire. He hit a home run in four of the first six games, but has tailed off since then. After getting a pitch thrown at his head last night, Arenado should be fired up for tonight’s game.

He’s still making great contact on the ball every game, so I like the motivation along with the numbers. He’s hit two of his five homers against right-handed pitchers.

This is a good matchup for him and comes with great odds. -- Donnavan Smoot
