Best Home Run Picks Today

  • Joey Votto (+370)
  • Aaron Judge (+205)
  • Josh Donaldson (+320)
  • Trevor Story (+490)

Joey Votto (+370) - Cincinnati Reds vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

It's another high total in the Queen City as the Reds host the Diamondbacks, and after a brutal start to his 2022 campaign, Reds first baseman Joey Votto is catching fire.

He's got a seven-game hit streak with three home runs and 10 RBI over his last seven games, and faces struggling starter Zach Davies this afternoon.

Votto has clubbed Davies over his career; hitting .375 with three home runs and 12 hits in 32 career AB's.

Votto also got robbed of a home run in last night's game, and with the wind blowing straight out to center field at 10-plus mph, I don't expect another launched ball off Votto's bat to stay in the park. -- Ben Heisler

Aaron Judge (+205) - New York Yankees at Minnesota Twins

I’ve been staying away from my New York Yankees in my Daily Dinger picks, but it’s time to jump back on against Minnesota Twins starter Dylan Bundy on Thursday.

Bundy has allowed eight homers on the season, and now he has to face home-run leader Aaron Judge? Sign me up.

Not only that, but the wind is blowing out at Target Field in this matchup. Bundy has been tagged for 17 hits, three homers and 10 runs over his last two starts.

Give me Judge to go yard and keep his MVP campaign going. -- Peter Dewey

Josh Donaldson (+320) - New York Yankees at Minnesota Twins

It sickens me to take a Yankee today, but I have no choice but to fade Dylan "Al" Bundy, who absolutely stinks.

I'll bet on Josh Donaldson to hit a home run, since taking a former Blue Jay will take the bad taste out of my mouth at least a little bit. Donaldson has only hit five home runs this season, so he's due for another.

He might not be the player that he used to be, but he still has some power in his swing. I'll take him as a value bet to go yard against Bundy today. -- Iain MacMillan

Trevor Story (+490) - Boston Red Sox at Los Angeles Angels

It’s been nearly two weeks since Story went yard, but tonight is a good night for him.

He’ll face Shohei Ohtani, who has given up five homers in his last two games, and given up eight home runs in nine starts this season. Six of Story’s nine home runs have been against right-handed pitchers as well.

If Story can take advantage of the expected mistake from Ohtani, he can get back on the board. -- Donnavan Smoot
