Daily Dinger: Best Home Run Prop Bet Picks Today (Bo Bichette Cannot Be Beat)
Monday was a first in "Daily Dinger" history for the BetSided team, and it wasn't something to be particularly proud of.
All three of our hitters' teams that we picked to leave the yard were shut out by the opposing team. That's no bueno.
Then again, our Monday run of success was bound to slow down at some point, having hit on three consecutive days to start the work week. With Labor Day in the rearview mirror, the full team is back with our best home run prop bets for Tuesday, September 6, with best odds posted below:

Bo Bichette (+800) - Toronto Blue Jays at Baltimore Orioles
Sometimes a player is on the precipice of breaking out into a power frenzy, and that was Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette in Game 2 of their doubleheader vs. the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night.
The 24-year-old launched three home runs in Toronto’s 8-4 win, but was sizzling at the dish to that point; hitting .545 over his last five games; with three-hit games in all but two of them.
I’ll back him to carry his power surge today as he faces right-hander Kyle Bradish, who owns a subpar 6.29 ERA at home, allowing 11 of his 15 home runs this year.
With Bichette locked in as can possibly be, along with Bradish’s troubling home splits, Bo offers great value on the board this evening.

Jose Altuve (+525) – Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers
Altuve has hit two home runs in his last six games, with one of them coming against these Rangers.
Glenn Otto has given up three home runs in his last five starts, so I feel comfortable with the idea of him giving one up today. Otto has started three games against the Astros this season and has given up two home runs. Altuve’s slugging percentage also increases by 0.67 when he is at home, like today.
With a bat that is low-key hot right now and a pitcher that hasn’t dominated this matchup, trust Altuve to hit one deep today at Minute Maid Park. – Donnavan Smoot

Rowdy Tellez (+240) - Milwaukee Brewers at Colorado Rockies
If you absolutely need to win a bet on someone to hit a dinger, a good idea is to just look at whatever game is taking place at Coors Field.
That’s especially the case when a team is taking on a pitcher like the Rockies Chad Kuhl, who has a 5.19 ERA on the season.
This time around, I’m going to back Brewers bat, Rowdy Tellez, who has already hit 28 home runs this season. Not only that, but his slugging percentage goes up from .367 against left-handed pitchers this season, to -.594 against right-handed pitchers.
Also, 24 of his 28 home runs scored in 2022 have come against righties. Thankfully, Kuhl is a righty. – Iain MacMillan

Austin Riley (+285) – Atlanta Braves at Oakland Athletics
There are few hitters better against left-handed pitching in 2022 than Austin Riley, who is slashing .364/.449/.763 with 10 homers in 118 at-bats against southpaws.
Lefty Cole Irvin gets the ball for the Oakland Athletics in this matchup, and he’s been susceptible to the long ball, allowing 18 in 24 starts and at least one homer in six of his last seven outings.
Any time Riley takes on a lefty, he’s worth a shot in my book. – Peter Dewey

Shohei Ohtani (+360) - Los Angeles Angels vs. Detroit Tigers
Ohtani is fresh off of a two home run outing against the Tigers on Monday, and I think he’s going deep again as he continues to put together a historic 2022 season.
He faces Eduardo Rodriguez, who has reverse splits this season, meaning he struggles more against lefties than righties despite pitching from a southpaw stance.
Rodriguez allows lefties to hit .342 against him this season and Ohtani is swinging the bat too well right now not to play him. – Reed Wallach
