Some positive momentum headed into the final week before baseball's All-Star festivities would be ideal!

The BetSided crew after starting the week lava-hot with three home run picks on Monday and Tuesday, failed to go yard the rest of the week; striking out in all four articles on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Fear not, however, as Reed Wallach and I have two hitters for Monday's slate that have started to see the baseball the size of a beach ball at the dish. Tonight, we're focusing our "Daily Dinger" picks in Cleveland and Colorado.

You can always follow along in our BetSided "Daily Dinger" standings here.

Top Home Run Picks Today

Andres Gimenez (+500) - Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox

Gimenez has quietly put together a strong season for the Guardians, .a near-.300 hitter with nine homers to his name.

He has done very well against righties, hitting north of .300 and eight of those nine home runs. He now faces Lance Lynn of the White Sox, who has struggled against lefty hitters this season. Lefties are hitting .327 against Lynn this season, who is allowing a ton of contact (more than nine hits per nine innings).

I'll jump on Gimenez to go yard. -- Reed Wallach

Kris Bryant (+280) - San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies

If I'm ready to claim Bryant's OVER 1.5 total bases as my favorite MLB prop bet of the day, then I should be fully prepared to take him in "Daily Dinger" as well!

The total projected for the Rockies is set at 5.5 runs at home vs. Padres' southpaw Sean Manaea, and Bryant's .971 career OPS vs. left-handers is a major reason why. He's dominated lefties throughout the course of his career, and enters tonight with a four-game hitting streak, hits in nine of his last 10 ballgames, and has also reaching base in 12 straight.

Bryant isn't one of those guys you fade when they're hot, and I'll get on board while he's sizzling, especially with a perfect matchup and park to hit in. -- Ben Heisler
