Daily Dinger: Best Home Run Prop Bet Picks Today (Rhys Hoskins Pays Rent in Trevor Rogers' Head)
Good to see the BetSided weekend crew drop back-to-back Daily Dinger winners on Friday and Saturday. New York Yankees slugger GIancarlo Stanton went yard vs. the Boston Red Sox followed by a two-HR day from Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Guardians against the Detroit Tigers.
For the final slate of baseball's first half, we've circled three different sluggers all at +300 or better odds to leave the yard today, including one of them participating in Monday's MLB Home Run Derby in Los Angeles.

Top Home Run Picks Today
- Teoscar Hernandez (+310)
- Rhys Hoskins (+400)
- Julio Rodriguez (+400)
Teoscar Hernandez (+310) Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals
Hernandez has three home runs in his last four games and I love his chances to keep this hot streak going against Kris Bubic this afternoon.
Bubic ranks in the fourth percentile in hard hit percentage and 15th in average exit velocity, so he can be blasted. The two pitches Bubic throws the most, a four-seam fastball and changeup, are two pitches that Hernandez hammers. He's got exceptional numbers against them and with loaded Blue Jays' lineup, Bubic won't be able to pitch around Teoscar.
Even if Bubic holds it down, the Royals' atrocious bullpen will give us a great opportunity to cash this late in the game. -- Joe Summers
Rhys Hoskins (+400) - Philadelphia Phillies at Miami Marlins
I'm doubling down on my favorite player prop of the day with Hoskins going up against Trevor Rogers of the Marlins today.
Rogers has had a rough year to begin with, pitching to a 5.42 ERA while watching his K/9 go way down and his BB/9 skyrocket. He's also allowing 1.15 HR/9 this year, his highest number in two years.
Meanwhile, Hoskins has a career 1.214 slugging percentage vs. Rogers in his career, hitting .500 with three home runs in 14 at bats.
He's also crushed southpaws all season, and I expect another big day to continue when they match up later on. -- Ben Heisler
Julio Rodriguez (+400) - Seattle Mariners at Texas Rangers
Seattle Mariners rookie Julio Rodriguez has been a revelation this season, especially as the team has worked its way back into the playoff picture in the American League. Now, he faces Texas Rangers starter Glenn Otto who has been god awful at home this season, posting a 8.06 ERA in six starts.
Otto has given up four homers and 23 earned runs in his home starts this season.I’ll take a chance on the Mariners’ best player to tee off on Otto in what should be another winnable game for Seattle. -- Peter Dewey
