Best Home Run Picks for Tuesday, May 3

Giancarlo Stanton (+405) at WynnBET Sportsbook
George Springer (+345) at WynnBET Sportsbook
Christian Yelich (+600)
Juan Soto (+400)
Charlie Blackmon (+500)

Giancarlo Stanton (+405) - New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays

After a two week drought in the middle of April, Stanton has found his swing again; smacking two homers in the last four games of April. We all know what kind of power Stanton has and a matchup against Alek Manoah is the perfect heavyweight battle to go yard in.

Stanton has hit three of his four homers against righties, which Manoah is, and has gone yard all against starting pitching. The Yankees are rolling and Stanton will contribute to another crucial AL East win for New York. -- Donnavan Smoot

George Springer (+345) - Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees

Say it with me: Springer Dinger.

Springer has been lights out this season with the Jays, hitting just below .300 and has six homers to his name already. The starting pitcher for the Yankees, Jameson Taillon, has been susceptible to the long ball, allowing more than 1 homer per 9 innings this season.

Rogers Centre is a hitter friendly park and I like Springer to go deep. -- Reed Wallach

Christian Yelich (+600) - Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds

The Brewers get the benefit of facing the lowly Cincinnati Reds today, and Tyler Mahle takes the start for them. He has a 6.45 ERA so far this season, but somehow he's yet to give up a home run. That changes today when Christian Yelich steps up to the plate.

Even if Mahle doesn't give one up, the Reds will eventually turn to their bullpen which ranks 28th in the Majors in bullpen ERA.

At least one person is going yard today, and I'll wager on it being Yelich. -- Iain MacMillan

Juan Soto - Washington Nationals at Colorado Rockies

Juan Soto has a favorable matchup on Tuesday night, as the Washington Nationals will play at Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies.

The Rockies have last year’s All-Star German Marquez on the mound, but he’s off to a slow start, allowing four homers and 16 runs (13 earned) through four starts this season.

Soto is 3-for-8 with a homer against Marquez in his career, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s able to get into one at a generally friendly hitter's park. -- Peter Dewey

Charlie Blackmon - Colorado Rockies vs. Washington Nationals

Everything is coming up Milhouse for Blackmon as a pick to leave the yard tonight.

He's got two dingers over his last seven games, he's crushed Nationals starting pitcher Erick Fedde with a .625 BA in eight ABs with a home run, and he's home at Coors Field; owning a career isolated power (ISO) of .228, compared to .163 on the road.

Colorado owns the best hitting numbers in the league so far this season, and Blackmon remains a catalyst for them. He's my pick to click. -- Ben Heisler
