Best MLB Parlay Picks Today (Blue Jays Upset, Two Favorites to Trust on Tuesday)
By Peter Dewey
Every day at BetSided, one of our editors is looking to put together an MLB parlay to bet for that day's action. While parlays aren't going to make you a profitable sports bettor, they can be really fun to root for throughout a day full of baseball.
Here are three picks that I’m looking to parlay on Tuesday, April 19, with all odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:
Best MLB Parlay Picks Today (+489 Odds)
- Toronto Blue Jays Moneyline (+125)
- Los Angeles Dodgers Moneyline (-143)
- San Diego Padres Moneyline (-190)
Toronto Blue Jays Moneyline (+125)
I love the Blue Jays as an underdog on Tuesday, as I think they have the offense to beat up on a suspect Red Sox bullpen. Boston does have Nathan Eovaldi starting, but he’s lasted just five innings in each of his two starts this season.
The Jays are eighth in the league in OPs, Boston is 16th, and I trust their staff after today’s starter Yusei Kikuchi a lot more than Boston’s bullpen, which has already blown two of four save opportunities this season.
Los Angeles Dodgers Moneyline (-143)
We’ll have a fantastic pitching matchup in Monday's showdown between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers, as Max Fried takes the bump against Walker Buehler.
Even with Fried on the mound, I don’t know if I can trust a Braves team that has allowed the most runs in baseball so far this season, against a Dodgers team that leads the league in runs per game!
This is a nightmare for Braves fans to start the year, as the team’s pitching staff has a collective 4.89 ERA this season.
Fried has unfortunately been part of the problem, starting the season 0-2 with a 5.73 ERA. I’m surprised that the OVER in this game is at +100 odds, as these two teams combined average 9.97 runs per game.
I’m not going to overvalue a Fried-Buehler matchup, as the Dodgers’ offense has been too good this season to not beat up on the Braves again after scoring seven runs on Monday.
San Diego Padres Moneyline (-190)
The Cincinnati Reds are just 2-9 this season and have a negative-27 run differential in just 11 games.
Now, they’ll face the San Diego Padres and starter Joe Musgrove, who has been solid to start the 2022 season. Cincy has allowed the most runs in baseball (tied with the Braves), and strikes out a ton.
That’s going to be a problem against a Padres team that has won two straight and has arguably its best pitcher on the mound.
