BetSided’s MLB parlay expert Joe Summers has the day off, so I’m filling in for him and hoping to do my best impression to Wally Pipp him as the parlay king (just kidding Joe, the crown is yours).

There’s a few plays I have on the 11-game slate that I think are worth putting together in a parlay for some ever bigger odds over at WynnBET Sportsbook

Let’s jump into the picks for Thursday, Aug. 11:

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today (+476 Odds)

  • Arizona Diamondbacks ML vs. San Francisco Giants (+128)
  • New York Mets-Atlanta Braves First 5 Innings UNDER 3 (+100)
  • San Diego Padres ML vs. Washington Nationals (-380)

Arizona Diamondbacks ML vs. San Francisco Giants (+128)

Let’s start this with an underdog!

The Arizona Diamondbacks are a middling team in the National League, but they take a step up in class when Zac Gallen is on the mound.

Gallen, who has a 2.94 ERA this season, has led the Diamondbacks to five straight wins, and he’s been magnificent in his last two outings. Gallen has turned in 14 innings of scoreless ball with 14 strikeouts against the Pittsburgh Pirates and Colorado Rockies.

Logan Webb, the Giants starter, has been elite at home in his career, but the D-Backs touched him up for four runs in their last matchup. I’ll trust Gallen as a short dog in this one

New York Mets-Atlanta Braves First 5 Innings UNDER 3 (+100)

The best pitching matchup of the night is between Jacob deGrom and Max Fried in Atlanta, and I’m all over anything that will give me value on betting a pitcher’s duel.

The first five under is at plus money, and I’m going to trust it with deGrom (1.62 ERA) and Fried (2.60 ERA) pitching some great baseball as of late. These two offenses are solid, but I think pitching wins early in Atlanta.

San Diego Padres ML vs. Washington Nationals (-380)

I was looking for a heavy favorite to round out this parlay, so why not fade the Washington Nationals when they face Juan Soto and the San Diego Padres?

Yu Darvish is out for revenge after allowing four runs to this Washington team in his last start, and the Nats still stink, losing two straight and sitting at 39-80 on the season.

I wouldn’t bet this game solo, but I think it’s worth throwing in to help increase the odds on this parlay.
