You know the feeling: first day back at work after a long vacation with dozens of emails to open and a million slack messages to tend to, while all you can think about is returning to the beach with a Mai Tai and some sun.

Forget those work obligations - let's stay in vacation mode with a winning MLB parlay. The All-Star break has come and gone. Now, it's time to stack those dollars in the stretch run so we can enjoy those sweet, smooth Mai Tai's all year round.

Using the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook, here are my favorite MLB parlay picks as baseball returns to action:

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today

Marlins (-115) vs Rangers

Both teams needed a few days off, to say the least. The Rangers lost four straight before the break while the Marlins lost three straight, scoring a grand total of one measly run in those losses.

That being said, I like the Marlins to open the second half with a win behind Pablo Lopez. Lopez has a 2.35 ERA at home and allowed just one run over his last two outings there.

Texas struggles against right-handed pitching and while they've got a strong starter in Jon Gray today, he's got a 4.12 road ERA and doesn't hold a candle to Lopez.

Miami has been exceptional as a home favorite all season, going 12-5 over their last 17, and should get the job done behind Lopez today.

Astros (-126) vs Yankees

The last time we saw Cristian Javier against the Yankees, he helped throw a no-hitter. He's got the second-lowest expected ERA in MLB while ranking in the 97th percentile in strikeout percentage and 98th in expected batting average.

It's always dangerous to fade the Yankees, but I feel comfortable doing so with Nestor Cortes on the road. Cortes has been sensational for the most part, but he's struggled away from home in recent weeks.

In Cortes' last four road starts, he's lasted through the fifth inning just once and has a 6.46 ERA. He gave up three runs to the Astros at home last month and with his problems on the road, I expect another poor performance.

I'll back Houston to improve to 11-3 in its last 14 as a home favorite behind another sterling start from Javier.

Giants (+141) vs Dodgers

Did the oddsmakers at WynnBET have one too many of those Mai Tai's? How on EARTH is Carlos Rodon a +141 underdog to Mitch White??

By any measure, Rodon is one of the best pitchers in baseball. He ranks eighth in expected ERA and second in FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) while striking out 11.23 batters per nine innings.

In his last seven starts, Rodon allowed one or fewer runs six times. That includes six shutout innings against these Dodgers, by the way.

Mitch White, meanwhile, has a 4.22 expected ERA and just gave up six runs and 10 hits to the Cardinals in his last start. The Dodgers are 2-4 in his last six starts and have no business being such a large favorite against Rodon. Roll with the road underdogs to kick this second half off with a bang.

MLB Parlay for July 21, 2022

The "More Mai Tai's, Please" Parlay (+708)

  • Marlins (-115) vs Rangers
  • Astros (-126) vs Yankees
  • Giants (+141) vs Dodgers

Boom! We're back, baby!

I love the value on each of these starting pitchers we're backing and can't wait to get back in the fold. A $25 bet on this three-teamer pays out $177.04 in profit, though you're free to utilize the previews at BetSided to craft your own parlay at WynnBET.

Best of luck and let's get after it!
