Oh no, it's the end of the month already? That means rent is almost due, bills need to be paid and we could all use some extra cash.

Never fear gang, you've come to the right place. I've poured over BetSided's previews for today's loaded 15-game MLB slate and am pleased to report that you can tell your landlord rent is coming early. Shoot, you may even be able to pay a couple of month's in advance once we're done with the parlay I've got cookin'.

Here are my favorite MLB Parlay picks of the day, courtesy of odds from WynnBET Sportsbook:

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today

Marlins (-165) vs Pirates

I may not be at the beach on this sunny Sunday but I'm feeling...Saaaandy. The NL's best pitcher, Sandy Alcantara has thrown at least seven innings in 13 consecutive starts, hurling a quality start in 12 of those. He's got a 0.78 ERA this month and should dominate a struggling Pirates lineup.

He's on a historic stretch, and in my opinion, should be getting MVP buzz. Hopefully we start that conversation after another stellar performance today. Pittsburgh starter Mitch Keller held the Marlins to one run two weeks ago but has a 4.69 ERA at home and ranks in just the 32nd percentile in expected batting average.

In Keller's home starts this season, the Pirates are 1-6. Miami, meanwhile, is 5-1 in Alcantara's last six on the road and have won four of five as road favorites. Back the Marlins behind the Iron Man.

Braves (-210) vs Angels

The Angels are a pathetic, dumpster-fire of a franchise. They've lost 14 of 16 overall and eight consecutive starts by Reid Detmers, who has a 5.26 ERA on the road.

Atlanta has one of MLB's best lineups and is a sparkling 24-6 in its last 30 as a home favorite. Ian Anderson has a 2.30 ERA in July as he takes on an Angels lineup that has the second-worst OPS against right-handed pitchers over the last three weeks. Mike Trout won't play today, making their paltry lineup even more punchless.

The Braves are 8-2 in Anderson's last 10 starts while the Angels are 1-16 in their last 17 as road underdogs. Look for Atlanta to sweep the series.

Rays (-149) vs Royals

Kansas City snapped a four-game losing streak with yesterday's win, but I'm thrilled to fade them with Kris Bubic pitching today. He's got a 7.20 ERA at home and the Royals have lost five straight behind him. Just look at the poor guy's MLB Statcast Pitching Profile and imagine Randy Arozarena crushing a dinger:

Yeah, Bubic is terrible. Jeffrey Springs, on the other hand, is not. He's coming off the Injured List and should be refreshed. Tampa Bay has six consecutive wins in his starts as he ranks in the 96th percentile in chase rate.

The Royals are 4-18 in their last 22 as home underdogs. At a modest price, I'm happy to fade them and one of the worst starters in all of MLB.

Padres (+115) vs Mets

I like ending the parlay with Sunday Night Baseball because we can hedge if we get this far. So, if we've won the other parlay bets, we'll be able to bet the Mets here and guarantee a profit. But I like the value on San Diego regardless, who have four straight wins over New York by a combined score of 26-4.

Joe Musgrove has been excellent this season, compiling an 8-2 record and 2.42 ERA. Dating back to last season, the Padres are 13-4 in his last 17 starts. At the least, Musgrove gives San Diego an advantage over Carlos Carrasco, who has a 5.09 ERA in night games and ranks in the 40th percentile in expected batting average.

The Mets have lost three straight as home favorites, scoring a pathetic two runs total in that stretch, while the Padres are 12-6 in their last 18 as road underdogs and won four of the last five matchups in which Musgrove was an underdog. Back the better pitcher and hotter team to wrap up a smashing parlay.

MLB Parlay for July 24, 2022

The "Pay My Bills" Parlay (+752)

  • Marlins (-165) vs Pirates
  • Braves (-210) vs Angels
  • Rays (-149) vs Royals
  • Padres (+115) vs Mets

Bang bang, there it is! We've got the superior pitcher in all four matchups and I love the value we've concocted.

Be sure to utilize the BetSided game previews as you're picking your own parlay at WynnBET Sportsbook, though keep these plays in mind.

It's time to pay the bills, so let's make sure the landlord stays happy, eh? Best of luck - let's get after it!
