Friday night baseball is here and with a ton of games on the slate, I thought why not put together a parlay? What better way to end the week than with a big win?

Here is a trio of picks that I’m looking to parlay on Friday, April 22, all odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:

New York Yankees -185 ML to beat Cleveland Guardians

Let's start off easy with leg one of our Friday night MLB parlay. Easy because the Yankees are a fairly safe bet to earn a win tonight against the Guardians. At least as far as the odds are concerned. But, that is what parlays are all about. They create value on games that don’t quite have it otherwise.

While I have yet to see an official announcement by the team, the general consensus is that Eli Morgan will be starting for the Guardians tonight. It will be his first start of the season after making three appearances out of the bullpen. In six total innings this year, Morgan has a 4.50 ERA and a 0.83 WHIP in six innings. I don’t expect he will last long and the Guardians' 3.19 bullpen ERA doesn’t inspire confidence.

The Yankees are coming off a series win over the Tigers, and I think could have turned a corner after a slow start to the year.

Tampa Bay Rays -150 ML to beat Boston Red Sox

This game features a pitching duel between two veteran righties when Michael Wacha and Corey Kluber take the hill. Kluber has a long history of beating up on the current Red Sox roster. As a group, the Red Sox are hitting just .219 lifetime against Kluber. He is no longer chasing Cy Young awards, but the skills are still there. So long as his arm holds up, Kluber will be a massive addition to the Rays after a terrible year in New York.

Although Wacha looked solid in his first two starts, his recent resume tells a more complete story. He has an ERA of around five over the last six years and has been on three different teams during that span. The former NLCS MVP never really lived up to his hype and might be washed up already at 30.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Los Angeles Angels UNDER 8.5 (+100)

It finally happened. It took 13 games, but the Orioles have finally hit an OVER. It was an astonishing streak to start a season and really hammered home just how awful this team is. Even when they were hitting for a high average to start the year, this team just can't score runs. Baltimore has the lowest run total in the league at 28. They have the distinction of being the only team with less than 30 runs scored. The Angels, meanwhile, are .500 on the total heading into this series. Mike Trout is dealing with a hand injury from earlier in the week. He stated that he plans to play tonight but probably won't be at 100 percent.
