We have a busy Wednesday ahead of us in the MLB with several high-quality matchups to cover. Between pitcher’s duels, division races, and heavy-hitting teams, there will be no shortage of action on hump day.

With that in mind, I wanted to put together a three-game parlay to cover all my bases. Let's get started, with all odds courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best MLB Parlay Picks for Thursday

  • Astros ML vs. Mets (-135)
  • Giants -1.5 vs. Tigers (+105)
  • Dodgers -1.5 vs. Rockies (-125)

A $25 wager would win $135.58 if it hits!

Astros ML vs. Mets (-135)

The Mets might be the best team in the National League standings, but their offense isn’t all that when compared to some of their peers. The Mets have been getting it done on the mound and, with Taijuan Walker on the mound, have a solid shot to upset the Astros here.

At least they would if not for Justin Verlander. The ageless superstar continues to mow down even the best lineups and ranks among the league leaders in wins, ERA, and WHIP. He has a 2.56 ERA in 31 ⅔ innings so far this month and remains a frontrunner for the Cy Young. Long story short, I’m not fading Verlander even against the Mets’ third-ranked scoring offense.

Giants -1.5 vs. Tigers (+105)

The San Francisco Giants have been dealing with a slump over the last couple of weeks that could be cured tonight by the Tigers. Detroit remains one of the worst teams in the MLB and are massive ML underdogs on the road. The Tigers are a mess and have allowed 122 runs to score this month while scoring just 81 so far in June.

The Giants don’t have the same issues scoring most of the time and rank fourth in the MLB in runs per game at 4.88. This is bad news for Rony Garcia and the Tigers. Garcia enters with a 4.57 ERA after having given up 11 runs in his last 20 ⅓ innings. While I don’t have a ton of faith in the Giants’ Alex Wood either, I think this shootout will end with the Giants winning by a few runs.

Dodgers -1.5 vs. Rockies (-125)

The Los Angeles Dodgers may be the best team in the National League, but they sure don’t look like it right now.

L.A. is in danger of getting swept by the worst team in the division and falling back into second place behind the San Diego Padres.

As bad as this series has gone so far, I think that Julio Urias puts LA back in the winner’s circle tonight with a dominant performance on the road. Urias has a phenomenal 1.54 ERA in four starts this month against much better teams than the Rockies.
