Best MLB Parlay Picks Today (Two Totals, a Favorite, & an Underdog Walk Into a Bar...)
By Joe Summers
Congratulations on making it to Friday! As your reward, we've got a fully-loaded MLB slate with 15 games on the board.
Our team here at BetSided has you covered with previews for each game, but there's no better way to enter our weekend than by cashing a huge parlay.
I've identified some matchups oozing with value, simply begging to be part of a massive payday. With the help from our friends at WynnBET Sportsbook, let's check out the best MLB parlay picks to close out the week:
Best MLB Parlay Picks
Stick With The Trends Parlay (+1340)
- Reds vs Pirates Over 8.0 (-105)
- Orioles (+130) vs Tigers
- Orioles vs Tigers Under 8.0 (-130)
- Blue Jays (-123) vs Rays
Reds vs Pirates Over 8.0 (-105)
The over had hit in 10 consecutive Reds' games until yesterday's 4-0 win over these Pirates. Thankfully, we've got a poor pitching matchup to help get things back on track. Cincy starter Tyler Mahle has a 6.46 ERA while the Pirates' Mitch Keller sports a 6.11 ERA and has given up at least four runs in four of his six outings.
Both of these lineups saw these pitchers last week and both games went over. Typically, facing a pitcher a second time benefits the batters, and I see no reason to think otherwise tonight. Each bullpen ranks among the league's worst. Expect the over to improve to 15-2 in the Reds' last 17 games and 5-1 when the Pirates are favorites.
Orioles (+130) vs Tigers/Orioles vs Tigers Under 8.0 (-130)
Detroit is 3-16 over their last 19 and a pathetic 2-7 as a favorite, including five straight losses. They've been a disaster after being a trendy pick to win the AL Central.
Baltimore, on the other hand, has won four of six as an underdog and rank sixth in OPS during May. Jordan Lyles has given up only three runs total in his last two starts while the Tigers are averaging 1.8 runs per game in their last 10 matchups.
The Orioles should be favored here, but I'll happily back them at plus money. But I also favor the under. It's 7-1-1 in Detroit's last 9 thanks to their hapless lineup and 4-1 in Baltimore's last five as their pitching staff has been electric.
Blue Jays (-123) vs Rays
Toronto has dropped four straight, but we're getting a huge discount to back Kevin Gausman, who has been one of the league's best pitchers in 2022. He has four consecutive quality starts, allowing only four total runs in the process, while ranking in the 100th percentile in whiff rate and 99th percentile in walk rate.
Drew Rasmussen has been splendid for the Rays as well, but he's in just the 23rd percentile in average exit velocity and his last three starts have come against the woeful Athletics and Mariners twice. The step up in competition will be a challenge, and Gausman should prevail.
Head on over to WynnBET Sportsbook and get your parlay locked in. Feel free to use our previews and add some bets to craft your own if you'd like (Rockies run line, anyone?) but make sure you get yourself set for what should be a glorious Friday slate.
